Fake Radio Presents - Opening Night 2010: "You Can't Take it With You"
COME JOIN FAKE RADIO FOR THE OPENING NIGHT OF ITS 2010 SEASON!
For 10 years, "Fake Radio" has been presenting its comedic take on classic radio shows from "The Golden Age" of radio: 1930-1950. Our unique blend of original broadcast scripts along with unexpected improvised dialogue has been delighting audiences and critics for years.
We now invite you to join us for the opening night of our 2010 season with one of the most beloved stories from the 1930's:
You Can't Take it With You
The original story penned by Kaufman & Hart is here adapted for the great Lux Radio Theatre program, the most popular radio show during the "Golden Age" of radio. And the story couldn't be more appropriate for today's circumstances: it's about two men who lead vastly different lives. One follows only his heart, the other follows only his desire to make money.
Join us for a very special beginning to our 2010 season and... we'll see you at the theatre!
