NEW YORK:
A live modern NYC jazz-funk dance party featuring National Jazz Award winning NYC schooled trumpet player BROWNMAN, just back in Toronto from touring with Jay-Z! They'll start with Bird, Miles, Coltrane and then ease their way to the more funkified grooves of Herbie Hancock, Freddie Hubbard, and late electric Miles (9pm). During dinner (6-9pm), the classic NYC jazz sounds from Divine MizA will take your through tunes from Billie to Ella and more!
NEW ORLEANS:
An incredible 4-course New Orleans authentic menu (see below), the Voodoo Lounge downstairs features music from New Orleans Golden Age of Jazz (Louis Armstrong, Fats Waller...) & a Mardi Gras style party!
Dress up as a dapper New Yorker, Mad Men style or come in a Mardi Gras costume if you like! Party favors, beads, costume prizes and midnight dessert buffet. Toast & celebrations at midnight! DJ ADU spinning the best of NYC and New Orleans music all night long between live music sets!

6pm-9pm : During dinner -- "Lady Sings The Blues" feat. Divine MizA, tributing classic NYC jazz vocalists (Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, and others).

He is considered to be one of the most unique and provocative improvising trumpet players in the nation today, is widely regarded as a vanguard for the evolution of Jazz in Canada & is recognized as one of the greatest Miles Davis interpreters in the country.
A highly decorated player, his accolades include 2 National Jazz Awards (and 11 nominations over the years), a CBC Galaxie Rising Star award, a SOCAN composers award, Montreal Jazz Fest's "Grand Prix Du Jazz" award, a Toronto Independent Music Award (& 6 nominations), an induction into the WHO'S WHO IN BLACK CANADA, a BRAVO! channel documentary on his life, NOW magazine naming him "Toronto's Best Jazz Musician", CBC Radio Canada named him "one of the most recorded trumpet players in Canadian history", the Trinidad & Tobago Consulate General awarded him with a citation for being a "Distinguished National of Trinidad", and is listed by Air Canada as one of the "Top 10 reasons to visit Toronto".
