A Streetcar Named Desire
Theatre Babylon presents the Tennessee Williams classic A Streetcar Named Desire.
A streetcar named Desire delivers a delicate, fading flower named Blanche DuBois to a tenement in New Orleans where her younger sister, Stella, lives with her working class husband, Stanley. Passion and tension mount as Stanley strips away the mental veil Blanche has used to cover the ugly realities of life. Strong directing, diverse casting and excellent production values will make this a "must see" show. Williams won the 1948 Pulitzer Prize for A Streetcar Named Desire, which some consider the greatest of American plays.
A Streetcar Named Desire is directed by JD Lloyd, production design by Brad Cook and the cast will include Teri Mathews, Brad Cook, Skye Howell Henley, LaChris Jordan, Jessa Whitewolf, Cory Nealy, Celene Panariello, Drew Hobson and Douglas Willot.
