The Aviatrix
Peter Neofotis, whose previous Tales of Concord, Virginia have been hailed as "Eerily magnificent!" (Twin Cities' Star Tribute) will perform a new story at NYC's The Tank Theater. In The Aviatrix, a young man, facing a crisis of the modern world, finds solace after inheriting his great aunt's journals and reliving her adventures as a female airplane pilot during WWII.
Peter Neofotis is the author of Concord, Virginia (St. Martin's 2009), winner of Pirates Alley William Faulkner Prize and Finalist for the William Saroyan International Prize for Fiction. He has told his tales at numerous NYC and regional theaters - most recently as part of the Piccolo Spoleto festival in Charleston, SC.
