House of Time presents "Mozart and Prague"
The chamber ensemble House of Time brings Baroque music to life with energetic performances and compelling programs. A period-instrument ensemble of Juilliard faculty and international competition winners, House of Time builds on the successes of its inaugural year, which brought them to the Berkeley Early Music Festival, Early Music Festival: NYC and Bohemian National Hall at The Czech Center New York.
"Mozart and Prague" delivers popular as well as rarely heard gems from Classical Prague including Mozart's famous oboe quartet, Reicha's oboe quintet, Mozart's Don Giovanni for string quartet and more!
The concert is at The Lounge at Hudson View Gardens, 116 Pinehurst Ave. in Manhatten.
House of Time ensemble members are: Tatiana Daubek, violin; Gonzalo X. Ruiz, oboe; Beiliang Zhu, viola da gamba and cello; and Avi Stein, harpsichord, each of whom perform on period instruments. Special guests for this concert are Paul Dwyer, cello; and Leon Schelhase, harpsichord.
