DOWNTOWN EATS: Valentine's Day Aphrodisiac Tour

This Valentine's Day, fall in love with Downtown.

Join esteemed food tour guide Nicole Harnett next week for a whirlwind aphrodisiac tour of Downtown's restaurants, featuring wine-chocolate pairings and oysters from Prince Edward Island to the California Coast that will make your heart skip a beat. It's the first of a new season of "Downtown Eats" food tours, presented by the Alliance for Downtown New York.

Previous tours have featured samples of succulent sliders, Italian eggplant parmigiana, a fine wine and cheese pairing, some of the best coffee and cookies in the city, and much more of Lower Manhattan's tastiest fare.

The tour will also offer participants insight into the history of Lower Manhattan's development, and the recent changes that have made it one of New York City's fastest growing residential neighborhoods.

This tour will take place on Saturday, February 13, 2010, from 12pm - 3pm. Please meet the tour guide in front of the Equitable Building (120 Broadway), 10mins prior to the beginning of the tour.
