Heeb X-Mas Eve Farm-to-Table Super Chinese Buffet

Many of us have nostalgia for Chinese food on Christmas....its almost as ubiquitous as bagels and cream cheese. You'd be surprised how many Jews you'll find in the local farm and food community here in Atlanta, and we decided to team up for a dinner we all thought would be a blast!

The all-star ATL Jewish chefs preparing dishes for the Super Buffet:

Todd Ginsberg, The General Muir, Fred's Meat & Bread, and Yalla
Eli Kirschtein, The Luminary
Jarrett Steiber, Eat Me Speak Me
Seth Freedman, Forage and Flame

The buffet includes rueben egg rolls, sweet and sour soup, peking duck, smoked chicken wings, braised greens with beef, kung-pao tofu, scallion pancakes and vegetable stir fry. (Kosher style)

There will be kids activities for families bringing children.

Cocktail hour starts at 6pm and dinner begins at 7pm on December 24th, 2014. One drink is included with each ticket.

The location is the Temple, 1589 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30309.

All proceeds from the event support Global Growers Network. Global Growers connects refugee farmers living in Georgia to local agriculture by training farmers, growing good food, and creating economic opportunities.
