Whidbey Childrens Theater Presents The Diary of Anne Frank
Whidbey Children's Theater is proud to present "The Diary of Anne Frank", its second production of the season. This powerful and poignant drama tells the story of young Anne Frank, who is only 12 years old when her family is forced into hiding during the Nazi occupation of Holland in 1942. From the pages of her diary we join their struggles, triumphs, hopes, fears and humanity that shine through even in the darkest hour. Directed by Michael Morgen, a dedicated cast of high school age actors brings this important story fresh life in WCT's intimate black box theater space.(space limited to 50 seats per show) Show opens Thursday December 11 at Whidbey Children's Theater, next to Langley Middle School.
Performances: December 11, 12, 13 (7:30pm), 14th (2pm) December 18, 19, 20 (7:30pm), 21st (2pm) Tickets can be purchased online at www.whidbeychildrenstheater.org or at the box office up to 1 hour before curtain. $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and $8 for students (recommened ages 12+, no babes in arms, no late seating) Special Student Night: Thursday Dec 18, tickets $5 for youth under 18, or with Student ID!
