Rebecca Kanner won a Loft Mentorship Award in 2007 and was a runner-up for the 2009 McKnight Award. She's been published in The Kenyon Review, The Cincinnati Review, The Bellingham Review, Dogzplot and Third Coast.  She has a personal essay forthcoming in War Literature & The Arts, and a fiction story forthcoming in The Tusculum Review.

Neal Karlen was speaking Yiddish at home well before he was an Associate Editor at Newsweek and Contributing Editor for Rolling Stone. A regular contributor to the New York Times, he has authored seven books, most recently "The Story of Yiddish".

Alison Morse's poetry and prose have been published in Natural Bridge, Water~Stone, Rhino, Opium Magazine, The Potomac, and other journals.
