Urban Fox: Theatre Unuct
In our third year of producing Theatre Uncut events, Urban Fox is presenting rehearsed readings of three of this year's Theatre Uncut plays at Discover 21, 1pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday 26th November. This year we will be presenting work under the theme "Knowledge is Power, Knowledge is Change."
-The Finger of God by Anders Lustgarten -The Most Horrific by Vivienne Franzmann (co-commissioned by Bristol Old Vic) -Ira Provitt and the Man by Hayley Squires
After each performance, we will then invite audience to debate and discuss the theme raised in these plays. Join the company as we question the theme and play with power. Followed by homemade cake!
We will also be live tweeting from @UrbanFoxTheatre throughout the event.
Theatre Uncut was created to get people thinking, talking and taking action on the events that are happening in the world around them. The idea is simple. Playwrights from a selection of countries are asked to write brand new short plays in response to their current political situation. These scripts are then made available for anyone to perform anywhere. Theatre Uncut is run by artistic directors Emma Callander and Hannah Price.
