A one-day neighborhood photo contest on Sat. Feb. 27, 2010
Presented by The Common Good Community House and In a Flash Gallery, in collaboration with the Eighteenth Street Development Corporation
Location: 2221 W. 21st Street
Schedule:
10:30 am: meet at Common Good Community House
11 am - 1 pm: contestants roam Pilsen taking photos
1 - 3:30: lunch (on your own), photo printing, gallery set-up
3:30 - 5: gallery show of participants photos, reception and awards
Prize categories: architecture, nature, people, & open
Prizes provided by: Giron Books, Kristoffer's Cafe, Krystal Meisel Photography (more TBA!)
Additional cost: registrants can enter one photo in each of the four prize categories. 8 x 10 photo printing for entry will cost $3 or less per photo; entrants keep those photos at the end of the day.
