Grandview Brewery Tour (January through March)
The Grandview area is nothing short of the city's premier incubator for the craft of micro brewing.
Starting in 1998 with Smokehouse Brewing (formerly Barley's Smokehouse and Brewpub), the area has seen tremendous growth in craft brew destinations, offering a wide range of intriguing styles of beer and brewing methods.
We'll start our tour at Smokehouse Brewing for beer sampling and light apps. From there we'll explore a couple of the newer microbreweries in the neighborhood. Stops may include Four String Brewing, Zauber Brewing Company and Sideswipe Brewing. We'll end our tour at The Ohio Taproom where we'll be able to taste from a selection of harder to find Ohio-only microbreweries and learn everything about growlers and Ohio Tap Room's unique growler filling system. This tour is an introduction to craft brewing in the region and is designed to be fun, educational, and delicious.
This brewery tour is priced at $55.00. It includes tastings at 3 breweries, tastings at the Ohio Taproom, a light snack, air-conditioned van transportation between all of the stops, and a guide with plenty of local beer knowledge. It lasts approximately 3.5 - 4 hours.
