The essential elements of acting aren't limited to the theater. We all need to learn how to think on our feet, embrace our creative ideas, and listen attentively in all jobs and personal interactions. How do actors do it? In this introductory 4-week series, we'll employ theater improvisation games, vocal training, song and text to gain expressiveness, expand self confidence and learn how to make strong choices in performance and in personal communication.
This class is suitable for business professionals, teachers, healers, theater novices or actors looking to brush up on fundamental skills. Dress to move and ready to have fun!
Deborah Eliezer brings over 15 years of professional training to her teaching. An actor, choreographer, and professional voiceover, she has been a member of the award-winning foolsFURY Theater for 6 years, teaches all over the Bay Area and maintains a private coaching practice. Her Integrated voice and movement work draws upon Linklater, Roy Hart, Lugering Method, The Viewpoints, Suzuki Actor Training Method and others. She is currently pursuing her Sound, Voice Movement Healing Certification at CIIS. Deborah has a passion for nurturing the hidden talents in her students, and helping them reach their goals.
