Maine Bartenders Bash
Maine's very best bartenders have been invited to create unique Cold River Vodka Cocktails and compete for top prize at the Maine Bartenders Bash. The event is taking place in the Portland Museum of Art's Great Hall. Aurora Provisions will be catering the event, so you can expect foods as equally wonderful as the drinks.
Throughout the Bash guests will sample cocktails and vote for their favorite. Cocktails will be poured from 5:30 until 7:30, with the winning bartender being announced at around 7:30 by Cold River Vodka's, Bob Harkins.
Guests are invited to stay and celebrate until 8PM. Then everyone is encouraged to head out for their first Maine Restaurant Week dinner. The purpose of the Bash is to raise money for Preble Street Resource Center (http://www.preblestreet.org/) and to showcase the individuality, innovation and skills of Maine's bartending leaders. Also it focuses on The Spirit of Maine, Cold River Vodka (http://www.coldrivervodka.com/).
