Donations for Theater Renovations - Bootless Capital Campaign
Bootless celebrates its tenth anniversary this season, and for many of those ten years, Bootless didn't have a theater home to call its own.
Based on the program Art in Sacred Spaces, Bootless and St. Stephen's Lutheran Church entered into a partnership to transform the church's rarely used, outdated social hall into an inimate theater and community space. Bootless @ St. Stephen's is the only theater located in the Trolley Square area of Wilmington. Boasting free parking and being within walking distance to wonderful restaurants and pubs, Bootless @ St. Stephen's will quickly become the "go to" venue for live theater and entertainment.
Construction costs to convert the social hall into a theater will total well over $75,000. Through a generous grant from Crystal Trust Foundation, the Capital Campaign began with a bang. With the Crystal Trust grant and various private donations, our Capital Campaign total is $37,521.
Now, it's up to you, our beloved Bootless fans, to help us reach the finish line. Every donation, no matter the size, means the world to us. Your generosity will be touted to thousands of visitors on an engraved plaque displayed in the lobby.
