The Sexuality of Pregnancy & Birth (Good Vibrations- Valencia St.)
There are many ways that mothers-to-be and their partners might experience pregnancy, labor and childbirth and how they affect sexuality. Join Carrie Flemming, MA for an evening devoted to The Sexuality of Pregnancy & Birth, a multimedia workshop of empowering information, guided visualization, film and personal exploration as a foundation for dialogue about the sexuality of pregnancy and labor. In a safe and nurturing space, we will connect with our sexuality, explore feelings and experiences, and engage in dialogue about the personal and collective consciousness around the sexuality of pregnancy and birth. You'll gain practical information about sex during pregnancy and labor, intimacy as a labor-enhancer, effects of sexual trauma on the birthing mother and much more. This workshop is intended for anyone interested in exploring sexuality in the context of pregnancy and birth with an emphasis toward pregnant women, partners of pregnant women and professionals who support pregnant moms & families.
