Thanksgiving Jazz-A-F!RE
You, Your Friends & Family are invited to join us Thanksgiving Sunday for Jazz-A-F!RE at 3-5 pm at Memphis Sounds, 22 North Third Street at Econo Lddge Hotel. You will experience the finest in straight-ahead jazz music hosted by the Memphis Black Arts Alliance's FireHouse Community Arts Center.
The Jazz-A-F!RE Experience which began July 2009 features professional music faculty of the FireHouse Community Arts Academy, including vocalist Naomi Williams Moody, guitarist, Lance Thompson and bass player Kent Suggs, also a member of Prime Cut Band - Audie Smith, piano and Andre' Holman, drums . Amateur and professional jazz musicians and singers are invited to BYOI (Bring Your Own Instrument) and sit in and jam with the musicians during the final hour. You never know who you'll see!!!
