Come join us for lunch and an informative afternoon with Dr. Andy Frank as he reveals his grand vision for transitioning from a society totally dependent on oil and coal to one powered by solar and wind without compromising our affluence and convenience.
About the Speaker: Dr. Andrew Frank is widely recognized as the father of the modern plug-in hybrid car. Dr. Frank and his team of students have been experimenting with various advanced vehicle technologies for the past 25 years, with some of his pioneering work licensed to Efficiency Drivetrains Inc. of Palo Alto.
About the CAA-Chinese Chapter: Since its founding in 1933, the California Alumni Association Chinese Chapter has been committed to serving the alumni and advancing the welfare of U.C. Berkeley through worthwhile projects like contributing $500,000 towards the construction of the C.V. Starr East Asian Library and the provision of over 20 scholarships and endowments annually to deserving U.C. Berkeley students.
