The final officially recognized Dogme 95 film, the group disbanded in 2005, In Your Hands (Forbrydelser) is a reunion of sorts for the actresses of previous Dogme 95 films. When Anna (Ann Eleonora Jørgensen of Italian for Beginners) is hired as chaplain for a Danish women's prison she encounters the new arrival Kate (Trine Dyrholm of The Celebration). No sooner does Kate arrive than she is accused of performing miracles on the other female imamates using "healing hands." Her miraculous deeds include making an infertile prison pregnant as well as curing the junkie Marion (Sonja Richter of Open Hearts) of her habit. Faced with the possibility of such miracles, Anna must confront what each and every one of us is capable of.

Reflecting the ethos of Dogme 95 itself In Your Hands (Forbrydelser) is a pointe endpoint for the movement. Reminding filmmaker and viewer alike that there is still much mystery and miracles to be discovered in the simplest of places: our own hands.
