In February 2009, Producer, Dub-Poetess and Reggae Fan, Sufia Giza Amenwahsu and her Rastafarian Sisterfriend, Iley Wildes took off on a cross-country excursion to do an expose on reggae music in America, as they ventured to the 28th Annual Raggamuffins, (Bob Marley Day) Festival in Long Beach, California.
REGGAE MILITIS Takes viewers behind the scenes to hear directly from some of the movers and shakers in reggae music, including Artists like, Leroy Sibbles; Buju Banton and Etana, as well as, the Concert Promoter, Ms. Barbara Barabino. It also features impromptu acapello gifts from several artists at the Press Conference.
REGGAE The Story of Jamaican Music/Reggae: De Jamaica Al Mundo - UK (:47) Mike Connolly, Producer This documentary examines the impact the Caribbean island of Jamaica has had on music, especially within the world of REGGAE. The film reveals the history of how Jamaican music traveled the world, and looks at the ongoing popularity that Reggae Legend, Bob Marley maintains.
REGGAE The Story of Jamaican Music is Bi-Lingual, and features interviews in both English and Spanish with Spanish subtitles. It shows Artists like Jimmy Cliff and Burning Spear commenting on their experience as Veterans in the reggae music industry, as well as, Producers and others involved in the business of reggae music.
