Con Tutti! Sing We Joyous!
Celebrate the season with joyous carols, heralding sounds of brass quintet, African drumming, a New Year's tale, the 100 singers of Con Tutti and a BIG SURPRISE! Con Tutti sings in the season on Saturday, December 6th at the South Church in Portsmouth, NH wassailing, Decking the Halls and shouts of "Huzzah, Huzzah!". Songs from England, Ireland, Africa, Germany and France.....from the famous Leonard Cohen, "Hallelujah" to South African songs of celebration and joy!
"We're very excited to have a guest conductor, singing with us, and conducting an exciting Ghanaian piece," says Director Joanne Connolly. "Ben Amakye-Boateng is with us from Ghana just this semester. He is a visiting scholar and musician working with UNH. It's been a wonderful cultural exchange having Ben with us"
