Heart, heroism and high-flying chutzpah. This gripping documentary is about a true-life wartime adventure story that began in 1948. World War II veterans from the U.S. who volunteered to defend the new country of Israel, turn the tide of the War of Independence through skill and trickery.

Produced by Nancy Spielberg, younger sister to Steven, this film celebrates these pilots who laid the foundation for the Israeli Air Force. It combines extraordinary archival footage and wonderful interviews.
