Auditions for Dance Theatre of Harlem/CityDance Summer Intensive
Dance Theatre of Harlem Summer Intensive in Partnership with CityDance returns this summer!
The first of two auditions for the Intensive will be held on November 22, 2014 at the CityDance School & Conservatory located at The Music Center at Strathmore. (The 2nd audition will be held in January, 2015.)
Audition Times are as follows:
Young Program:
Ballet: 11:00am-12:30pm
Level: IV/V
Ballet: 11:00am-12:30pm
Contemporary: 3:30pm-5:00pm
Level: Select IA/IIA
Ballet: 12:30pm-2:00pm
Pointe: 2:00pm-3:00pm
Contemporary: 3:30pm-5:00pm
Level: Conservatory/Select III
Ballet: 12:00pm-1:30pm
Pointe: 1:30pm-2:30pm
Men's Class: 2:30pm-3:30pm
Contemporary: 3:30pm-5:00pm
About: Dance Theatre of Harlem's Summer Intensives are ideal for students interested in a challenging exploration of ballet and the allied arts with daily classes in ballet, pointe, pas de deux, modern, contemporary, jazz, and African. Other activities will include master classes with guest artists and CityDance faculty and participation in a culminating performance.
Strathmore is connected by a skybridge to Grosvenor/Strathmore Metro stop on the DC Red Line. There is plenty of free parking in the Metro garage.
