Pinot Noir Global Tour & Class
Fall is the perfect time to celebrate the noble Pinot Noir grape, and a Thanksgiving table without a bottle of Pinot is a sad table, indeed.
On Thursday, Nov. 20th, 2014, The Barrel Thief is hosting a special Pinot Noir tasting, with Pinot from around the world, including its most recognized home in Burgundy, France, as well as Germany, Oregon, Canada, and more. The tasting will feature some Premier Cru Pinots, and all bottles will be available for sale, just in time for the holidays. The cost of the tasting is $5, payable at the tasting, refundable with a bottle purchase.
We'll also be offering an Introduction to Pinot Noir class at 6:00pm sharp with Master Sommelier Christopher Tanghe, formerly of Aragona and RN 74, and now Portfolio Manager for Vinum Importing. Christopher will impart vast amounts of knowledge to you in a very short amount of time in this fast-and-furious intro class, so you can best appreciate the Pinot Noir at the tasting. The class is a steal at only ten bucks, but advance registration is highly suggested, since seating is limited. The class includes the full tasting, plus an exclusive high-end Burgundy, so you can truly appreciate the potential of this magnificent grape.
*** Please buy advance tickets to the class on this page ***
Don't miss this fabulous tasting and educational opportunity just a week before Thanksgiving!
Summary: 6:00 to 8:00pm tasting; 6:00 to 6:45pm class.
