The journey continues ever on, and Jesse is now venturing forth into the murkier waters of Americana, Acoustic Rock, and maybe even a little bit of that elusive old-time sound...Dark and gritty, soaring and harmonious, and always in fashion, Jesse's music is sure to please the discerning listener. The Grand Republic itself is a confederation of people and groups that Jesse enjoys playing with and are joining together with the sole purpose of ensuring the growth and prosperity of truly great American music...alright, maybe with a little of that old world flare....It is an ever changing and evolving line-up that will provide the backdrop for the journey into the deeper waters of this musical conflux....

Formed in the fall of '08 at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Chasing Blue plays a mix of original and traditional bluegrass material with unique arrangements and hard-driving style. Original material holds true to the bluegrass tradition but strong lyrical ideas and progressive musical ideas make the Chasing Blue sound.
ACOUSTICANA
Acousticana plays American roots music on acoustic instruments. Bluegrass, Tex- Mex, folk, country, gospel, Cajunit's all here, tastefully informed by soul, blues, rock, pop, world music, and other contemporary influences. New music with an old feel.
