New Orleans Night at the Parkway
Join us for a night of New Orleans style jazz. The old-school cool of Minneapolis' Southside Aces will take you back to the dance hall days of King Oliver, Jelly Roll Morton and Louis Armstrong. They play a hot and loose swing and love nothing more than to shimmy a little Lady Gaga right up next to some Duke Ellington on the setlist.
For two decades, Mama Digdown's has traveled the world spreading the gospel of New Orleans brass band music. They have one foot firmly rooted in the traditional brass band sound of New Orleans and the other struts to the throwdown funk and soul of a younger generation.
