Happy Girl Kitchen Cocktails with H. Joseph Ehrmann
If 2009 is any prediction of what's to come in 2010, get ready for more PRESERVING and a revival of the art of the COCKTAIL. We've taken these too buzzworthy trends and combined them into an evening of tasting cocktails that have been made with the award-winning products from local canning fave Happy Girl Kitchen. H. Joseph Ehrmann, mixologist from Elixir will lead this tasting by mixing up drinks that highlight HGK's tomato juice, pickled beet juice, and other canned creations. H will explain how to build flavors in cocktails, the benefits of using preserves during off seasons, how to balance the sweet and savory aspects of the preserves, and how to craft the visual appearance and aroma of a cocktail.
