English Territorials Cheese Tasting with Raef Hodgson of Neals Yard Dairy
30 years ago a small cheese shop called Neal's Yard Dairy opened in London. One of their young cheese makers was named Randolph Hodgson who within a few years became the shop's owner. Randolph built Neal's Yard Dairy into one of the world's most celebrated cheese markets. Today the shop works closely with about 70 British and Irish cheese makers. During his visit, Randolph's son Raef, a true expert by blood and experience, will spend this evening leading us on an edible tour of English territorial cheeses. We will taste:

Hawes Wensleydale (Neal's Yard's recipe Animal Rennet)
Hawes Wensleydale (Vegetarian Rennet)
Kirkham's Lancashire
Sparkenhoe Red Leicester.
A traditional British beer will be served to complement this delicious selection of cheeses.
