TEA COOKIES CHAMPAGNE and BOOK SIGNING
Come meet noted Sherlockian Les Klinger, the prolific Edgar-winning author and editor of many books including the famous three-volume "Annotated Sherlock Holmes".
Les recently won the battle to "free Sherlock Holmes" from the copyright dispute that long clouded rights to Doyle's work.
As a renowned Sherlock Holmes expert, Les served as advisor on both Robert Downey, Jr. films, and is a prominent, active member of the Baker Street Irregulars.
Les will introduce and read from his latest book "In the Company of Sherlock Holmes" which he co-edited with Laurie King.
Also on hand will be acclaimed author Nancy Holder, four-time winner of the coveted Bram Stoker award for horror, and author of many Buffy the Vampire series tie-ins. Nancy will read from her story.
All stories in the book contain some connection or reference to the Great Detective and include offerings from such literary stars as Sara Paretsky, Jeffery Deaver, Michael Connelly, and many more.
Come join us for tea, champagne and goodies, listen to readings from some of the local contributors, and have a chance to buy the book and have it signed! This volume is sure to be a collector's item and should be on every Sherlockian's bookshelf. And a great Christmas present as well.
