The 2015 Twin Cities Jewish Humor Festival presents FUNNY BONES: THE COMEDY OF CHARLIE CHAPLIN created and performed by Dan Kamin
SUNDAY, JANUARY 25 at 2pm at the Sabes JCC 4330 Cedar Lake Road S, St. Louis Park, MN 55416
Come celebrate 100 years of "The Little Tramp" with Dan Kamin, the physical theatre guru who trained Robert Downey Jr. for his Oscar-nominated performance as Chaplin, and who created Johnny Depp's moves for Benny and Joon.
This one-of-a-kind event takes audiences on a magical excursion into Chaplin's enchanted comic world through film clips, live music and physical theatre performance, and the screening of a newly restored version of The Pawnshop, Chaplin's short 1916 masterpiece. The film will be accompanied by versatile Minnesota musician Zachary Scot Johnson playing multiple instruments. There's lots of fun audience participation, and the program is one that kids will enjoy as much as adults. Come help Dan Kamin unearth Charlie Chaplin's Funny Bones.
Recommended for all ages!
