Out by Ten: From the White House to Our House
On November 20, 2014, Out by Ten producers Susan Seliger, and Jane Ashe present Moth SLAM Champion storyteller Jim O'Grady and the rockin' sounds of the Deni Bonet Trio, who played for the White House and is now playing at our house.
THE TALENT:
Deni Bonet Trio
Deni, a classically trained violinist, who has performed at Carnegie Hall, the UN and the White House, brings her band to rock the night. The Wall Street Journal described her fun-loving, edgy style as "Sheryl Crow meets the B-52s". She has recorded and shared the stage with R.E.M., Sarah McLachlan and Cyndi Lauper.
Jim O'Grady
Jim has told his wickedly wry tales on This American Life, Studio 360 and The Moth podcast. Currently a reporter for WNYC, he has also reported for the New York Times and written two biographies: Dorothy Day: With Love For The Poor, and Disarmed & Dangerous: The Radical Lives and Times of Daniel and Philip Berrigan.

7:30-9:30 PM on Thurs., October 23, 2014.

Our $20 admission fee ($18 in advance) includes free wine and cheese. Tickets at Brown Paper Tickets.
