Founded at Yale University in 1999, the Ensō String Quartet has, in a decade and a half, risen to the front rank of string ensembles. The Quartet will perform Haydn's String Quartet in G Minor, Op.76, No. 1; Janacek's 'Kreutzer Sonata' and works by Puccini and Verdi. Children under 6 will not be admitted.
Classical Interludes is made possible in part by a generous gift from James J. O'Toole and is supported in part with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and many generous individual donors.
