A CONCERT OF NOTE: A PROGRAM OF POETRY, PROSE & SONG
This unique concert is a collaboration between The Boulevard Theatre and Plymouth Chorale celebrating the genius of three literary giants: Emily Dickinson, Dylan Thomas and Robert Frost.
In the first leg of the poetic journey, Beth Monhollen will share some of Emily Dickinson's most cherished poetry with musical interludes provided by the Choral.
The middle portion features Boulevard Founder Mark Bucher, with an irreverent reading of Dylan Thomas' luminescent holiday reminiscence, "A CHILD'S CHRISTMAS IN WALES." The Plymouth Chorale's full choir will contribute clever arrangements of Christmas carols to this already-jolly literary romp.
Rounding out this program, Plymouth Chorale will perform FROSTIANA: SEVEN COUNTRY SONGS, which celebrates the poetry of Robert Frost as set to music by composer Randall Thompson. Donna Kummer will conduct. A Holiday reception with complimentary refreshments will follow both performances. www.boulevardtheatre.com https://www.facebook.com/boulevardtheatre
