Classical Interludes: Carnegie Hall's Neighborhood Concert Series: Dover Quartet
Winner of the 2013 Banff International String Quartet Competition and the first ensemble to be named quartet-in-residence at the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music, the Dover Quartet has performed in the world's great concert halls and its members have appeared as soloists with the world's finest orchestras. The Quartet will perform Haydn's String Quartet in G Major, Op. 76, No. 1 and Beethoven's String Quartet in A Major, Op. 18, No. 5. Children under 6 will not be admitted.
Classical Interludes is made possible in part by a generous gift from James J. O'Toole and is supported in part with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and many generous individual donors.
