Katarina Pejak was raised in a family where music, especially blues, was a part of the every day life. She developed an interest in performing at an early age, taking different forms of training since the age of 5, and ultimately graduated from "Mokranjac" primary and high school-which is 10 years of classical music training, all together, in her hometown of Belgrade, Serbia. She applied to the Berklee College Of Music in Boston, where she got admitted on a partial scholarship, and graduated in 2014. Katarina received the Songwriting Achievement Award.

Her first album "Perfume & Luck" (Blues Time Records) was released in 2010. In 2012, she put out the second album "First Hand Stories"(Blues Time Records), most of which was written at Berklee as a part of the songwriting program. Issued in Serbia, both albums were critically acclaimed and very well noticed among the alternative/jazz audience in Serbia.

Still balancing life between Belgrade and Boston, Katarina performs in her home country very frequently. She has played in festivals such as Belgrade Beer Fest (Belgrade, 2012, 2013), Crossroads Blues Festival (Belgrade, 2012),), International Jazz Festival (Belgrade), Bluesstock (Belgrade, 2010). Her other performances include London School Of Economics (London, 2011), support act for Serbian guitar star Ana Popovic in Chan's Jazz & Blues Club (Woonsocket, RI). She has had the chance to meet and play with blues guitarist Ronnie Earl at the Scullers Jazz Club in Boston.
