Broadway Chamber Players Presents Trio, Quartet, Quintet
After the brassy pageantry of our season premiere at St. Malachy's The Actors' Chapel, Broadway Chamber Players presents an intimate evening of chamber music for strings and clarinet by three of the foremost composers of the First Viennese SchoolSchubert, Beethoven, and Mozart. From the simple buoyancy of a Schubert string trio, another player is added for an early Op. 18 quartet by Beethoven, and the program concludes with Mozart's elegant Quintet for Clarinet and Strings, featuring "On the Town" clarinetist Benjamin Baron.

About Broadway Chamber Players:
Broadway Chamber Players comprises the finest instrumentalists, composers, and conductors across classical, jazz, and new-music fields, unified by one common thread--we all perform on Broadway. BCP seeks to continue Broadway's great tradition of live music by bringing its musicians from the pit to the stage, further enriching the Theater District concert scene by programming diverse chamber-music concerts and providing a fresh approach to hearing some of New York City's finest musicians in an intimate setting.
Our beloved partner in this exciting venture is St. Malachy's-The Actors' Chapel, which has remained an active, integral part of the dynamic Times Square/Theater District community since its founding in 1902. With the chapel's neo-Gothic pillars and superb acoustics serving as our home venue, Broadway Chamber Players will be able to showcase this living art form--right in the heart of Times Square.
