About The Fresh Start Project:
The Platform Group is embarking on a new project! The Fresh Start Project is a collaboration with Xavier Mission. 10 esteemed NYC Playwrights through interviews with the guests at Xavier Mission's Welcome Table Soup Kitchen will weave together a show like none other. Playwrights include Mel Nieves, Melisa Tien, Joe Norton, David Meyers, Sam Byron, Ann Mary Mullane, Chris Harcum, Erin Moughon-Smith, Jonathan Libman, and Shara Ashley Zeiger.

The proceeds will go towards buying over 1,000 pairs of underwear and socks for the guests of the mission. For the first time their stories will be heard and New York Audiences will be inspired by the growing number of people in our city affected by poverty.
