Poetic, comical and very personal, the clown is not a character but a state-of-being, in which the performer consciously explores personal weaknesses, contradictions, and naivety, transforming them into "poetry of the ridiculous".
Paola Coletto graduated from the cole Internationale de Thtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris where she studied a physical approach to theatre creation and became one of 40 students in the school's 50-year history to have been certified as a pedagogical specialist under Lecoq's direction. She has worked as a Teacher, Artistic Director, Actress and Producer in England, Scotland, Spain, France, the United States, and Italy.
