Literary Arts presents The Moth
MADE TO BE BROKEN: STORIES OF DISOBEDIENCE
Everyone has a story to tell...
The Moth is proud to have featured hundreds of storytellers from all walks of life. In every show we strive to feature a broad range of perspectives on the evening's theme. Stories are live on stage without scripts, notes, props or accompaniment. Each Moth mixes humorous and heartbreaking tales told with honesty, bravery and wit.
"The Moth is all about the irresistible power of story. I think it's the next big huge hit in public radio." -- Garrison Keillor, A Prairie Home Companion
"Best Regularly-Held Literary Event...the most memorable and hilarious narratives... an exuberant moveable feast." -- Village Voice (Best of New York)
"New York's hottest and hippest literary ticket." -- The Wall Street Journal
