Cabernet Cabaret presents: "The Beginning Is Near", a neo-revisioning of Burlesque, Lake Worth Playhouse, Stonzek Theatre Saturday, November 29th and Sunday November 30th, 2014, 9pm. $10 admission.
Cabernet Cabaret, a recently formed production group based in Lake Worth, Florida, will premiere its new show, THE BEGINNING IS NEAR, on Saturday, November 29th, and Sunday November 30th. A unique multi-media blending of dance, music, comedy, story and burlesque, as it's never been seen before.
THE BEGINNING IS NEAR follows the antics, happenings, and dreams of a Burlesque troupe as they rehearse and prepare for the opening of their new show the following day; which may never come. Burlesque and cabaret performers, hosts, and stage crew intermingle and interact, as the audience, to its delight, is privy to onstage, offstage and dressing room activities. Expect the unexpected from this Cabernet Cabaret production of THE BEGINNING IS NEAR.
BURLESQUE/CABARET THEME DRESS IS ENCOURAGED.
The Cabernet Cabaret group supports and promotes the goal of an atmosphere free of bigotry, oppression, and all forms of discriminatory repression. A percentage of all proceeds will be gifted to charity.
