In the world of choose your own adventure books and young adult mysteries Metonymy Jones and her sister Parrhesia were famous adventuring orphans. But when they get older things get harder. Parrhesia goes off to find their "true" father while Metonymy is left to pick up the pieces and wonder how much of there life was real and how much was just stories. Luck of The Ibis charts a tale of fractured fiction and fanciful fact that encompasses the stories that we need to tell to keep us safe in a cruel and unforgiving world.
