Purse, Battery Steele, Kefka, and Bully Mammoth
Portland stalwarts Purse (members of FUMARE, Verla, Haru Bangs and AWAAS) curate a phenomenal bill of local heavies. Battery Steele bring a high energy, thunderous wall of sound, harkening back to the earlier days of no-nonsense punk rock. Members of Red Medicine, The Waldos, Butcher Boy and Family Planning unite as Kefka, bringing together post-punk aesthetics with the abandon of a free-jazz ensemble and a compositional sense you'd expect in a concert hall. Newcomers Bully Mammoth are a rock entity of wild, wooly mystery.
