The Endless Forest Nutcracker Missouri
Presented by Common Thread Contemporary Dance Company in conjunction with Dance Project Saint Louis and Premiere Performance Dance Studio.
The Endless Forest Nutcracker is a unique production that sets the traditional story by E.T.A. Hoffman in a cabin in the mountains. Clara must travel from her auntie's home to the Endless Forest to find her long-lost sister. In her travels, she will discover the love of family, the magic of the Forest, and the enchantment to be found when the next step on the path becomes the first step in a new world.
Colorful costumes and beautiful music are but a small part of the collaborative art experience you will find at The Endless Forest Nutcracker. Local dance students will perform alongside Common Thread dancers in this exciting re-imagining of the classic Holiday Ballet.
We welcome you and invite you to join us at the William D. Purser, DC Center at Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri, on December 21st, 2014. Performances are at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm, and include a lovely pre-show performance by St. Louis guitarist Aaron Burlbaw. We'll see you in the Forest!
