Sustainable America is hosting a party to get to know our neighbors. You are welcome to check out our office, and enjoy drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and live music. Fuel technology we will have on display includes a BMW i8, a Fisker Karma, an A2B electric bike, and a Jetson electric scooter. Our sustainable agricultural displays include a an Omega hydroponic growing system, a vermicomposting bin, and our aquaponics system. Staff and partners will be on hand to explain how these technologies work to promote food and fuel sustainability.
The party starts at 5pm but feel free to come and go at your leisure. We are excited to share our mission of sustainability with you and learn about what you are working on as well.
Sustainable America is an environmental non-profit focused on increasing the sustainability, resiliency, and efficiency of our nation's food & transportation fuel systems. Our goal is to reduce fuel consumption by 50% and increase food availability by 50% over the next two decades. Based in Stamford, Connecticut, our organization began it's work in 2012 and relocated to our current office space earlier this year.
