In this one hour workshop, we'll focus on voice and style in short fiction, the things that make a writers' work her own. Participants will read published very short fiction, respond to flash fiction prompts, and share and discuss each others work. Open to all levels of writers!
Chapman received her MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her novella _Bell and Bargain_ will be published by Rose Metal Press in November, 2014 as part of the collection _My Very End of the Universe_. Her short fiction has appeared a number of journals including Wigleaf, The Collagist, Elimae, and the anthology _The Way We Sleep_. She is prose editor for decomP magazine, and lives in Durham, NC.
