Performing Artist Professional Development Day
Opening at 9:00AM, this full day of panel presentation, group discussion, and one-on-one consultation will provide information and support to performing artists of all disciplines. Open to all performers, the event will address such topics as: "Marketing, Web Promotion and Social Media", "Crowd Funding and Grants: Financing Your Projects", "Tips on Touring" "Self-Management vs. an Agent" and "Performance Polish". The presentations will be followed by a networking social "jam session" at 5:00-8:00PM.

The $15 Registration Fee includes morning and afternoon snacks; lunch and attendance to all workshop sessions.

We want this event to be accessible to all. Please email us if you wish to inquire about a registration fee waiver.

Attendance at this all day workshop includes the opportunity to register for the January Showcase free of charge.

The morning of the event you will have an opportunity to sign up for an on-site, personal consulting session about your website or web presence by Zithri Saleem (Zithri.com).

Zithri Ahmed Saleem is a non-profit executive and developer of several award-winning STEM education programs. He has 15 years of experience in design and strategic execution of programs and public-private partnerships. Most notably as Director of Education at Technology Access Foundation, Zithri designed several programs that transformed a small local, non-profit (TAF) into a national award-winning institution. He has provided extensive consultation on utilizing internet resources and website development with artists at all stages of their careers and arts organizations from local-grassroots groups to institutions such as Seattle Center.

For an additional $25 (on top of the general registration fee) you can register for a professional photograph session of you or your group taken on site. First come/First served and limited slots available!
