The Forum Stories Presents: Juniper + Fyn with Spirits of the Red City Live at Leon!

JUNIPER + FYN:
Taylor Ross brings with her from Iowa a wooden gear-powered mechanical musical life-sized sculpture of a fox that is a mythical muse and character moving through a set of music written in collaboration with Chimney Choir and Lake Mary. It's been a long time coming waiting for the chance to journey to Denver. Originally built for and performed at a documentary film festival in Missouri based around the theme "the mechanics of magic," the people of Juniper and Fyn are mountainously excited to finally share their collaborative constructions with the Homeland of Colorado.
SPIRITS OF THE RED CITY:
Is an incredibly and deeply moving group of individuals that convene from all over the country in order to tour together. Led by the highly crafted songs of Will Garrison, this acoustic group of guitar, cello, violin, bass, tenor banjo and many voices is an overwhelming experience of inner emotions poured out on the outside.
About the Forum The Forum: Stories That Create:
Samuel Benjamin Pike has been doing fantastic things in the Denver/ Colorado area exploring what it means to create through documenting stories through podcast and visuals. He is currently working for Wonderbound Ballet company to share their stories as well as continuing to hold Forums with all sorts of fascinating artists and musicians. On Friday night we will have a small forum after the music where Sam will facilitate an exploration of what and how we make, involving members of the performance.
