Mad Hatter Costume Ball
After the Mad Hatter Holiday Festival, Parade & Tree Lighting, join us -- costumed, masked or not -- for the Mad Hatter Costume Ball (Dance Unlimited, 510 Georgia Street @ Sonoma Boulevard) for plenty of Mad Hatter dancing & fun.
Two dance floors, three bands, DJs, performances, costume contest, food and drink, sponsored in part by Lake County Wineries. Many celebrants in elaborate Victorian outfits, Alice in Wonderland characters around for photo-opsdigital photo gallery on-site, photos sent directly to your email accounts.
Prizes and more -- an evening of dancing, performances, with Alice's Victorian Wonderland Hosts guiding everyone through the evening, while masterful fiddle playing and soulful music fills the air with the purest of vocals to please everyone.
Be entertained with Annie Marie & Fiddlaround, an acoustic trio that features Americana music at its best, weaving an infectious blend of fiddle tunes, swamp boogie, blues, Cajun, and country music from Louisiana, Texas, and California for a toe-tapping good time; Raymond Victor: The Used Blues Band, offering foot-stomping bluegrass music; and San Francisco's popular musical lads from Ireland plus a few American players: The Shams. A hard rocking, fiddle playing, punk-infused group that has built a solid fan base in the San Francisco Bay area.
During breaks, you will experience the swing and jitterbug dance groups heating up the room with their energy and skillful performances -- maybe learn a step or two if you want.
The ballroom has a great dance floor, a large lounge area, and comfortable seating.
