Neil Gaiman's Murder Mysteries: A Play for Voices
In current day Los Angeles, a young man on a late night stroll has a random encounter with a homeless man who offers him a story in exchange for a few cigarettes. Thus begins our journey into Neil Gaiman's unique vision of the bustling and mystical Realm of Angels before the dawn of creation. Here, the Angel Raguel is assigned to investigate the first murder ever and bring that murderer to justice. His explorations into of the machinations behind this first death will unlock the mysteries of Heaven itself and set in motion events that will define the future of Angel and human-kind forever.
From Neil Gaiman's Murder Mystery collection, this dark mystery piece is performed in the style of a live audio broadcast. Directed and Narrated by Jim Ahrens, with Sound Design by Nathan Schilz, and featuring Kevin Albertson, Matthew Kelly, Ilana Kapra, Amanda Kay Bahr, Kelliann Kary, and Angela Walberg.
