Julie Esposito stars in Open Your Window
Julie Esposito began singing professionally at the age of 16 back in her hometown of Chicago where she acquired the music bug from her father, the late jazz pianist and musical director, Gene Esposito who worked with many of the big names in music. For "Open Your Window", Julie took a cue from her own life, choosing songs that reminded her of her childhood growing up in the 1960's up through today, a happily married attorney by day cabaret singer by night. She's appeared at major clubs around Los Angeles and New York and is known for her pure, warm tone and artful phrasing with a unique style characterized by a mixture of jazz, popular, Broadway and The Great American Songbook. This show is also the title of her latest CD, which has earned much praise from reviewers and critics, as did her previous CD, "Unsung Hollywood", which features lessor known gems from the silver screen. Both CD's are available on line at Amazon, CD Baby and of course after her show.
